Stockroom Clerk
Basic Duties (As follows but not
limited to):
- Coordinates and expedites flow of
materials, parts and assemblies between sections or departments in
accordance to departmental priorities.
- Compiles and maintains manual or
computerized records.
- Reviews production schedules and
related information and collaborates with department supervisors to
determine material requirements and identify overdue materials.
- Coordinates, expedites, and picks
items for Over-The-Counter sales.
- Issue parts
FIFO (first in/first out) to support production shortages.
- Detect and
report faulty operations and/or material and report immediately to
supervisor.
- Monitor and
track Turn-Around-Time (TAT) targets for the Purchasing, Stockroom, and
Production departments.
- Consistently
adhere to the TAT schedule to reduce inventory and improve overall
Turn-Around-Time.
- General
working knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, rates, and ITAR &
EAR regulations.
- Conduct
cycle counts to verify the accuracy of inventory by counting the items at
various locations.
- Performs
other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the
organization.
Requirements:
Must
have a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one-year materials
inventory handling and/or production control environment. Must be able to
communicate (read, write, speak) in English. Must have a current FL Driver’s
License and vehicle.
Basic Schedule: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday, additional time as needed.
